Chattanooga TN is a great place for a vacation it is known for the famous “Chattanooga Choo Choo.”  The Cherokee Indians once made Chattanooga their home this has been many years ago. There are two heritage walking trails that remember this. There are many sites to see around Chattanooga the museums are a great attraction for tourists. If you like the wild sea side of things checks out the Chattanooga Tennessee Aquarium there are some of the most beautiful and unusual animals from the sea here. The aquarium has the world’s largest freshwater fish attraction. While you are in Chattanooga you have to go see Lookout Mountain you can see for miles form the top of it.

Another great place to visit is the Hunter Museum of American Art here they have some of the world’s finest art collections anywhere. One of the favorites for children is the Creative Discovery Museum here you can find lots of educational information and hands on activities that children enjoy. There are many site seeing places a really beautiful one is down by the river. This one is gorgeous at night with all the city lights shining across it.

There are just too many attractions to tell all you have to be there to see all the beautiful things there are to see in this city. Downtown with all the historical houses is a site in itself. The Victorian style houses will just make you want to stay there forever. Have a wonderful vacation in Chattanooga even if it is only a weekend.
