If you like fresh bake yeast rolls but don’t like the trouble and time it takes to make them this is a great recipe for you. These are great tasting rolls and they are easy and quick to make. 2 cups of lukewarm water 1 pkg. dry yeast ¼ cup sugar ¾ cup margarine, melted 1 egg 4 cups self-rising flour I use this recipe all the time because it doesn’t take but maybe an hour total time to make up let set and cook. If you are having a cookout there isn’t anything better than to smell fresh yeast rolls coming out of the oven piping hot to serve with it. After they are baked if desired you can add a little more butter on the top. For breakfast open a jar of fresh homemade jelly and your family will never want to leave home without their breakfast. |
