1 head iceberg lettuce, or 1 package prepared salad mix 1 medium tomato, chopped 1 medium onion, sliced thinly 1 medium carrot, shredded 2-3 hard boiled eggs, sliced into quarters 4-5 thin ham, turkey or beef slices, sliced thinly croutons Cheese, any kind Add lettuce or prepared salad mix in large bowl. Add tomato, onions, carrots, eggs, cheese and meat . Toss together until thoroughly tossed together. Add additional hard boiled egg wedges as garnishes. Add croutons and your favorite dresssing. Enjoy! Great as a side or as a meal. I am sure these treats will satisfy any sweet tooth!!!
Homemade Chocolate Fudge 2 cups granulated sugar 1/2 cup cocoa powder 1 cup whole milk 1 1/2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract 3 tablespoons butter or margarine, softened
Combine sugar and cocoa; mix until thoroughly combined. Add milk and dry ingredients to medium saucepan; cook on medium to high heat until mixture starts to boil; stir frequently to prevent mixture from burning. Cook until mixture reaches hard ball stage-add a spoon of the mixture to a cup of cold water until it forms a ball; remove from heat. Place pan in some cold water, the quickly add the butter and vanilla; stir quickly. Pour mixture onto cool buttered dish and refrigerate until firm. Serves about 5 to 7 people.
Rice Krispies Treats 8 cups Rice Krispies cereal 1 large jar Marshmallow cream 1 bag semi-sweet chocolate chips Dash of salt
Combine all ingredients in large mixing bowl until well combined. Spread mixture on large baking sheet lined with parchment paper and refrigerate until firm-about 2 hours. Cut into medium or small sized squares. Serves about 6-8 people or an army of hungry kids!!!! Yum-Yum!!!!
